I get errors when I run reports - what can I do?

This has been fixed in version 4.0 of Landlord Enterprise.  Contact us for more information.

When running reports you may get two error messages in the following order:

    1) Error in File C:\Documents and Settings\...\Temp\temp_f4319f2c-8547-960c-8d927911dcd1. rpt: The request could not be submitted for background processing. :5

    2) InvalidArgument=Value of "0" is not valid for 'index'. Parameter name: index

the report then appears with no data in it.

This issue is related to incompatibilities with version 2.0 of the .NET Framework.  Landlord Enterprise Edition is intended to run under version 1.1 of the .NET Framework.  If possible, you should un-install version 2.0 in favor of version 1.1.  Alternatively, you can install both versions of the framework and specifically set Landlord Enterprise Edition to run under version 1.1.  Consult Microsoft documentation regarding the .NET Framework Configuration Wizard, etc.

This has been fixed in version 4.0 of Landlord Enterprise.  Contact us for more information.

Another error message that may occur as a result of the 2.0 Framework is the following:

"This report cannot be displayed due to an unexpected error.  The error message (for support personnel) is: System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt."

Often followed by :  "Value Close() cannot be called while doing CreateHandle().:5"

Contact our support team if you have questions about issues with .NET 2.0

This has been fixed in version 4.0 of Landlord Enterprise.  Contact us for more information.

Another error related to .NET 2.0:

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
